POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist College football program is excited to announce the launch of "1^st and Goal," a brand-new podcast by alums for alums hosted by Christopher Heath '95, Joe Furey '90, and new head coach Mike Willis. The podcast, launching this upcoming spring in lead up to the Marist football spring game, will delve into the program's rich history, celebrate current players and coaches, and look ahead to the exciting future under new head coach Mike Willis.  
 
"1^st and Goal" aims to be more than just a sports podcast. It will be a platform for storytelling, connecting generations of Marist football players, coaches, and fans through insightful interviews, engaging discussions, and behind-the-scenes access. Listeners can expect: 
 

• Exclusive interviews with current and former players, coaches, and staff. From Marist Football legends to rising stars, "1^st and Goal" will bring the Marist football family closer than ever. 
• Deep dives into program history. Relive some of the most iconic moments in Marist Football history, learn about the program's traditions, and hear untold stories from those who were there. 
• Focus on the future of Marist Football under Coach Mike Willis. Hear Coach Willis' vision for the program, get to know his coaching staff, and follow the journey of the Red Foxes as they build a new era of success.
