Nick Jackson was recently featured on "Meet a Red Fox," a series presented by Williams Lumber and Home Centers.
Jackson sat down with Marist play-by-play broadcaster Geoff Brault to discuss a variety of topics. These include Jackson's start in football, possible touchdown dances, and what being named a captain means to him. To see the interview in its entirety, please click on the attached play button.
Jackson is a four-year member of the program who has been a significant contributor on the interior of Marist's defensive line since his freshman season in 2021, and he has shined on and off the field. He was named Second Team All-Pioneer Football League last season after leading the Red Foxes with seven-and-a-half tackles for loss. Jackson was Marist's nominee for this season's Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, is Vice President of Marist's Black Student Athlete Association, has attended the Black Student-Athlete Summit is Los Angeles each of the last two years, and has served on the Division I Football Oversight Committee Student-Athlete Connection Group
