NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Freshman midfielder

Kelsey Peduto was credited with the assist on the goal for the first point of her collegiate career.
With the tie, Marist moved to 3-8-3 on the campaign and 3-4-2 in the MAAC, while Iona moved to 5-7-4 on the season and 3-4-2 in conference play with the tie.
Â
The girls played with a lot of heart and grit today against a solid attacking opponent! We had an outstanding and dominate first half and put a great goal away on a set piece. Unfortunate to not put a few more goals in to put the game away earlier and allowed Iona to hang around giving up a tough set piece but points matter and we get to walk away with a point.
