POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist volleyball team was defeated by Quinnipiac at home on Saturday afternoon, 3-1.
Jamison White collected season-highs in kills with eight and total blocks with three.
Sara Dasic recorded 14 kills and seven digs.
Sarah Bumstead collected 7.5 points while hitting .625%.

The Bobcats took the reigns early in the first frame, jumping ahead to a 7-2 lead. The Red Foxes would soon battle back within one with a scoreline of 8-7. Despite their strong efforts, the Bobcats would regain momentum, taking five of the next seven points.
Quinnipiac would go on to take the frame 25-18.

The Red Foxes got off to a stellar start, jumping out to a 9-1 lead thanks in large part to five consecutive attack errors from Quinnipiac to kick off the action. The Red Foxes would go on to take their largest lead of the match at 11 points when the score was sitting at 19-8.
Despite a late push from the Bobcats, the Red Foxes would go on to take the frame 25-21.

The Bobcats did not let the second set hamper them as they came out strong in the third, storming out to a 8-3 lead. Quinnipiac would maintain complete control throughout the remainder of the third.
The Bobcats with momentum on their side, took the third set 25-14.

The trend from the previous set carried over into the fourth frame, with the Bobcats getting an early 10-3 lead. In spite of the momentum, the Red Foxes would battle back to within two of the Bobcats, putting the score at 19-17.
Quinnipiac would then go on a five-point rally to eventually power themselves to a 25-18 victory over the Red Foxes, sealing the match at 3-1.
