"I thought our girls showed up ready to compete today in response to details that we have worked on from our previous two matches where we struggled. Canisius is no doubt top of the MAAC and had been the best team we have faced thus far in regards to their attack. It was unfortunate giving up two penalty kicks so quickly after minimizing their opportunities for most of the first half. We need to do a better job capitalizing on our opportunities against bigger opponents, but it was a step in the right driection coming off our last two games. We continue to talk about our process and the building blocks we are putting in place as we fight for points in the MAAC."
