LOUDONVILLE, New York - The Red Foxes were defeated 3-2 by Siena on Wednesday night. The Red Foxes continue to search for their first victory of the 2024 season.

Alyssa White led the Red Foxes offensively with a combined 25 kills.
With this loss, the Red Foxes fall to 0-3 in MAAC play and 0-13 overall.

The Red Foxes and Saints battled throughout the early stages of the frame, eventually finding the scoreline at 8-7 in favor of the Saints. The home team would collect four of the next five points to put the score at 11-7. As the score reached 14-10 in favor of saints, the Red Foxes would go on to have a seven-point streak.
The Red Foxes would eventually go on to take the first frame 26-24

Both teams traded blows early in the frame eventually sitting at 10-10. Momentum would quickly swing into the Red Foxes favor, with them taking a lead in the latter half of the frame. The Saints were not out of the fight however, going on to eventually battle back to a 20-20 tie.
The Saints would go on to take the set 25-23

The third frame saw Siena take early control, collecting seven of the first ten points. The Red Foxes would eventually battle back to an 8-7 Siena lead. This would however be the closest margin for the remainder of the set.
The Saints would go on to win the set 25-18

The Red Foxes had a stronger start to the fourth set, getting out to a 5-2 lead. Despite this, the Saints would go on to tie the match several times. The score at 7-7 was the final instance of the set where the score remained tied.
The Red Foxes would retain control for the remainder of the set, eventually winning 25-19.

The Red Foxes had an explosive start in the fifth set, with
Alyssa White collecting three kills and CC Potter-Pessoa collecting a service ace. After the score reached 5-2 in favor of the Red Foxes, the Saints would go on a six-point streak to put the score at 8-5.
They would not relinquish their lead for the remainder of the match, eventually winning out at 15-12.

- Sara Dasic tallied her second double-double of the season with 13 kills and 11 digs.
