POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist men's soccer team continued its dominance at Tenney Stadium, as four different Red Foxes tallied a goal apiece en route to a 4-1 victory over MAAC foe Niagara Wednesday afternoon. The win extended the Red Foxes' unbeaten streak at home to five matches.
With the victory, the Red Foxes improved to 6-7-1 on the season and 3-2-1 in MAAC play, while the Purple Eagles fell to 2-10-2 overall and 0-5-1 in MAAC play with the loss.

- Nicholas Sanchez started the scoring in the 17th minute of the match, and gave the Red Foxes an early 1-0 lead. Sanchez recorded his second goal of the 2024 season and was assisted by Kyle Evans on the goal.
- Six minutes later, Chris Verheul added to the Red Foxes lead in the 23rd minute of the match. Verheul's third goal of his freshman campaign made the match 2-0 in favor of the Red Foxes.
- In the early minutes of the second half, Richard Morel gave the Red Foxes a 3-0 lead over the Purple Eagles in the match. Morel's team-leading fifth goal of the season in the 60th minute was assisted by Evan Marques who tallied his second assist of the season.
- Niagara broke the shutout 20 second later in the 60th minute and cut into the Red Foxes lead 3-1. The goal from the Purple Eagles was scored by Robert Woods.
- Arion Ulaj scored his first collegiate in the 84th minute for the Red Foxes, cementing a 4-1 win. Ulaj scored his first goal as a Red Fox on his 12th shot on goal of his young career. The goal was assisted by Jonathan Salguero.
- The Red Foxes outshot the Purple Eagles, 32-7.
- Marist's 32 shots are the most the Red Foxes have attempted in a game since recording 30 against Niagara on Oct. 31, 2018
- The Red Foxes earned three corners, compared to two for the Purple Eagles
- Jamie Lowell recorded five saves in the win for the Red Foxes
- The Red Foxes travel to Lawrenceville, NJ for a MAAC match against Rider.
- The match is slated for Nov. 2 with kickoff at 1 p.m.
