HAMDEN, Connecticut - The Marist volleyball team fell in its final road match of the season with a 3-0 loss to Quinnipiac on Sunday afternoon.
Katherine Thompson records 20 digs, two assists and one service ace.
Taylor tallied 13 kills and two digs.
Jamison White led the Red Foxes in assists with 27.

The Bobcats got off to an early lead thanks to a five-point rally. Though the Red Foxes did immediately respond by collecting the next three points. Later on in the set, the Bobcats begain to create more separation leading to a timeout by Marist. This seemed to galvanize the Red Foxes, who went on to score six of the next eight points to put the score at 17-16 for the home team.
Shortly after this, the Bobcats would reclaim control, eventually taking the set 25-21.

Marist would have a strong start to the second frame, jumping ahead to 6-3. Despite the Red Foxes early advantage, the Bobcats would tie it 11-11. After this the Bobcats would record eight of the next 11 points to giv them a 19-14 lead. Later on the Red Foxes would go on a massive run, securing 10 of the next twelve points.
Unfortunately this would come too late as the Red Foxes as the Bobcats would secure the set 26-24.

The third set remained tightly contested through its early stages as the score would sit tied at 10-10. However it was at this point that the Bobcats would really put the pressure onto the Red Foxes, collecting eight of the next nine points forcing Marist to call a timeout. The Bobcats would continue to hold the advantage throughout the remainder of the frame.
The home team would secure the set 25-20.
