POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist volleyball team defeated Saint Peter's 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. After losing the first set, the Red Foxes rallied to win three straight and secure the match victory.
Sara Dasic led the Red Foxes with 18 kills.
Jamison White led the Red Foxes with 35 assists and added nine digs.
Katherine Thompson had a match-leading 17 digs.
With the win, Marist moves to 3-20 on the season and 3-10 in MAAC play. The Red Foxes have won consecutive matches for the first time this season.

The Peacocks held an early 3-1 lead, but the Red Foxes responded with six consecutive points to take a 7-3 lead.
Marist led by as many as six points, but Saint Peter's went on an 8-2 run to tie the score at 14-14.
The Peacocks went on a 19-7 run to overcome the early 12-6 deficit, winning the initial set 25-19.
The Red Foxes jumped out to an 8-1 lead to begin the frame, and never surrendered control, leading by as many as 11 points in the set.
Marist dominated throughout en route to a 25-15 set victory.
The third set was highly contested early, with the score tied at 10-10.
The Red Foxes and Peacocks remained neck-and-neck throughout the frame, with the Red Foxes leading 23-22 late.
The Red Foxes eventually prevailed, winning the set 25-22.
The fourth set, similarly to the third set, was highly-contested early with the teams tied 4-4.
The Red Foxes began to separate themselves on the scoreboard, building a 14-9 lead and forcing a Saint Peter's timeout.
Marist never surrendered the lead, winning the set 25-14 and securing the 3-1 match victory.
The Red Foxes will host Rider on Sunday, Nov. 3.
