BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania – The Marist men's basketball team fell at Lehigh by a score of 74-69 at Stabler Arena on Saturday night.
- Marist never trailed in the first half. A tip-in by Jason Schofield gave the Red Foxes an 11-4 lead at the 15:51 mark. It was the first of seven times in the Red Foxes had a seven-point lead, which was their largest.
- Joshua Ingram banked in a long buzzer-beating three-pointer brought Lehigh to within one at 38-37 after 20 minutes.
- Marist was held scoreless for 5:10 early in the second half as Lehigh grabbed a lead it would not relinquish with an 11-0 run.
- Lehigh's lead reached a game high of 10 with 8:33 to play.
- Marist cut its deficit to three twice in the final minute, but Lehigh went 4-for-4 from the line in the final 10 seconds.
- Marist had four double-digit scorers: Jackson Price (14), Josh Pascarelli (13), Elijah Lewis (11), and Parby Kabamba (10).
- Kabamba led the Red Foxes with nine rebounds.
- In the first half, Marist shot .552 (16-for-29) from the field and .385 (5-for-13) from three. In the second half, Marist shot .364 (12-for-33) from the field and .167 (2-for-12) from three.
- Lehigh's Bube Momah led all scorers with 17.
- Kabamba's 10 points and nine rebounds were career highs.
- Pascarelli has scored in double figures in all six games this season.
- Lewis has scored at least 10 points in four straight games.
- Marist is now 0-9 at Lehigh all-time.
- Marist is now 4-2 on the season.
- Lehigh now stands at 2-5.
- Marist opens Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play on Friday, Dec. 6 at home against Mount St. Mary's.
