HAMILTON, New York - The Marist men's and women's tennis teams will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 17 against Colgate at the J. W. Abrahamson Tennis Courts. The women's team will then travel to Cornell on Sunday, Feb. 18.  
 

Last Time Out

Men's:

• The Red Foxes were knocked off by Binghamton, 4-3. 
  • Nick Suhanitski dominated his singles match, winning 6-2, 6-3. 
  • Alex Thompson and Tomas Gomez won their singles matches in 3 sets.

Women's:

• The Red Foxes defeated Binghamton by a score of 5-2.
  • Caterina Assi/Cloe Clements-Sorde won their doubles match
  • Caterina Assi, Vihana Shresta, Ellen Zureick, Jane Wright, and Andriana Zaphiris won their singles matches to power Marist to the victory.

 

Scouting Colgate 2/17

Men's:

• Colgate fell to 1-5 after a 5-2  loss to Saint Francis on February 11th.
• The Red Foxes are 7-2 all-time against the Raiders.

Women's:

• Colgate fell to 3-3 after losing 7-0 to Saint Francis on February 11th.
• The Red Foxes are 5-9 all-time against the Raiders.

Scouting Colgate 2/17

• The women's tennis team will then travel to Ithaca on Feb. 18 to take on the Big Red.
• Cornell is 2-4 on the season, and is set to host Rutgers and Boston College prior to facing the Red Foxes.

Men's:

• The men's team will be back in action against Fordham in New York, New York on Sunday, February 25th.

Women's:

• The women's team will travel to West Point, NY to take on Army on Saturday, Feb. 24.
