Men's Lacrosse Triumphs Over Jacksonville in Overtime Thriller

Jake Deacy Scores Game-Winning Goal

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's lacrosse team defeated the Jacksonville Dolphins by a score of 9-8 in a thrilling contest at Tenney Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Overtime was needed to separate the two teams and Jake Deacy came through for the Red Foxes, scoring the game-winning goal with 33 seconds left.

  • At the end of regulation, the score was all even at 8-8.
  • The Red Foxes, in sudden death, scored a goal from Jake Deacy, who was assisted by Sean Mullan.

  • Noble Smith recorded 16 saves for Marist.
