RIVERDALE, New York – The Marist men's basketball team earned its fifth straight win on Friday night.
 
Bouncing back from a six-point halftime deficit, the Red Foxes came back to earn a 57-50 win at Manhattan on Friday night.
 

Summary

• Marist was held to one field goal in the first six minutes, but three-pointers by Kam Farris and Jackson Price staked the Red Foxes to an 8-5 lead at the 11:40 mark.
• A 6-0 Manhattan run gave the Jaspers a 17-12 lead, and forced a Marist timeout with 3:32 left in the half.
• The Jaspers extended their run to 8-0, as Marist was held scoreless for 8:08. A jumper by Josh Pascarelli accounted for the final points of the first 20 minutes, as Marist trailed 20-14 at halftime.
• Marist scored the first seven points of the second half to take a 21-20 lead.
• After a layup by Shaquil Bender put Manhattan back in front, Marist scored six straight to take the lead for good.
• Jadin Collins hit two free throws with 4:55 left to give Marist its largest lead at 11.

• Jackson Price had 10 points in 13 minutes off the bench. Price shot 4-for-4 from the field, 1-for-1 from three, and drained his only free throw.
• Marist shot .516 (16-for-31) in the second half after a .227 (5-for-22) mark in the first half.
• Marist held Manhattan to .321 (17-for-53) from the field and .250 (6-for-24) from three-point range.
• Manhattan's Seydou Traore had game highs with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

• Marist now has its highest win total (15) since the 2007-08 season, and highest number of road wins (eight) since 2006-07.
• Marist is now 11-0 when holding the opposition under 60 points, and 10-0 when holding the opposition under 40 percent from the field.
• This is the third time this season Marist won after trailing at halftime.
• Marist has now won seven of its last 10 at Draddy Gymnasium after losing 13 out of 14 between the 2001-02 and 2014-15 seasons.
