Men’s Basketball Captures Fifth Straight

Ref Foxes Roar Back in Second Half, Topple Manhattan

RIVERDALE, New York – The Marist men's basketball team earned its fifth straight win on Friday night.
 
Bouncing back from a six-point halftime deficit, the Red Foxes came back to earn a 57-50 win at Manhattan on Friday night.
 
Summary
  • Marist was held to one field goal in the first six minutes, but three-pointers by Kam Farris and Jackson Price staked the Red Foxes to an 8-5 lead at the 11:40 mark.
  • A 6-0 Manhattan run gave the Jaspers a 17-12 lead, and forced a Marist timeout with 3:32 left in the half.
  • The Jaspers extended their run to 8-0, as Marist was held scoreless for 8:08. A jumper by Josh Pascarelli accounted for the final points of the first 20 minutes, as Marist trailed 20-14 at halftime.
