POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's lacrosse team fell 13-10 to the Quinnipiac Bobcats in a conference matchup on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Tenney Stadium.
With the loss, the Red Foxes fall to 4-4 while the Bobcats remain the only undefeated division one team in the country at 7-0.

- Less than one minute into the game, the Bobcats found the back of the net.
- Peter Murray countered for Marist, scoring two straight goals to give the Red Foxes a 2-1 lead.
- Quinnipiac evened the score at two apiece with 7:57 remaining in the first quarter.
- Sean Mullan scored in a man-up situation to put Marist back on top.
- With two minutes left in the quarter, Jake Deacy fired home a goal to increase the lead to 4-2.
- The Bobcats quickly responded to get within one with 56 seconds left in the opening frame.
- Quinnipiac struck first in the second, tying the score at 4-4.
- The Red Foxes regained the lead with Deacy putting in his second of the day at the 13:38 mark.
- The Bobcats retaliated in a big way, rattling off five straight goals to take a 9-5 lead with 3:06 to go in the second.
- Josh Balcarcel found the back of the net to get Marist within three.
- Murray fired home his third of the day to complete the hat trick and get Marist within two before the end of the first half.
- Collin Patrick fired one in to get Marist back within three at 11-8 with 11:06 left in the game.
- Quinnipiac added two more to push the lead to 13-8.
- Deacy completed the hat trick on an assist from Patrick to get the Red Foxes back within four with 3:36 to go in the game.
- Christian Colantonio added one more for the Red Foxes to make it 13-10.
- Murray's three goals were his first three of the season
- Deacy's hat trick was his third straight and fourth overall on the season.
- Balcarcel added a goal and two assists.
- Patrick contributed a goal and an assist.
- Colantino scored his 10th goal of the season and Mullan added his ninth of the campaign.
- The Red Foxes will be back in action on Wednesday, March 27, when Marist travels to take on MAAC foe Sacred Heart.
- The opening face-off is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+ at Campus Field.
