POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Marist men's lacrosse team looks to pick up its second MAAC victory of the 2024 campaign, as the Red Foxes play host to conference foe Manhattan on Saturday at 1 p.m. inside Tenney Stadium.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• A slow start offensively doomed the Red Foxes, as Marist men's lacrosse came up short in the road comeback attempt against MAAC foe Sacred Heart Thursday evening inside Campus Field.
• Jake Deacy led the offense with two goals
• Deacy has totaled 17 goals on the season
• Joshua Balcarcel added a goal and an assist in the loss for two points
• Dylan Bedell went 13-for-21 in face-offs, scored a goal and added five ground balls

• Men's lacrosse head coach Keegan Wilkinson is the all-time winningest coach in program-history, boasting 95 career wins.
• Wilkinson has double the wins of the next closest coach in Marist's all-time wins.
• Wilkinson is five wins away from becoming the first Marist men's lacrosse coach to tally 100 wins in their career.

 

MONSTER MCCAFFREY

• Aiden McCaffrey has been a defensive menace for the Red Foxes this season.
• McCaffrey is tops in the MAAC and ranks third in the nation at 2.56 caused turnovers per game.
• McCaffrey is tied for second in the nation with 23 caused turnovers on the season.

 

SCOUTING MANHATTAN

• The Red Foxes will be playing Manhattan for the 29th time in program history.
• Marist is 16-12 all time against the Jaspers, with a home record of 6-8.
• The last time these two battled, Marist won 10-9 in Riverdale on April 1, 2023.
• Joshua Balcarcel, Jake Deacy, and James Lyons scored two goals apiece to lead the offense.
