POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's lacrosse dropped a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match-up against the Manhattan Jaspers by a score of 11-10 on Saturday afternoon at Tenney Stadium.Â
With the loss, Marist falls to 4-6 overall and 1-4 in the MAAC. Manhattan improves to 4-6 on the season and 4-1 in conference play.

- The Red Foxes got on the board first with Sam Ferrel finding the back of the net.
- The Jaspers responded quickly to even the score at 1-1.
- Marist regained the lead on a goal from Jake Deacy who was assisted by Peter Murray. Murray then found the back of the net himself to increase the lead.
- Dylan Bedell gave the Red Foxes a 4-1 lead with 7:42 left in the opening frame.
- Manhattan scored two straight to get within one.
- Ferrel scored his second to put Marist back up two at the end of the first.
- Manhattan struck first in the second to get back within one.Â
- Pete Murray scored back-to-back goals for the Red Foxes, making it 7-4 with 1:48 to go in the second.
- The Jaspers grabbed a goal late to make it 7-5 heading into halftime.
- Manhattan scored the only two goals of the third quarter to tie the game at 7-7.
- The Jaspers found the back of the net first in the fourth quarter to take a one goal lead.
- The Red Foxes rattled off three goals from Christian Colantonio, Collin Patrick, and Joshua Balcarcel to take a 10-8 lead with 8:50 to go in the game.
- Manhattan responded with three straight goals of its own to take an 11-10 lead which proved to be the difference.
- Marist returns to action on Saturday, April 6 at Mount St. Mary's.
