LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey - The Marist men's track & field team continued its season on Saturday, competing in the Rider Invite. Mason Mayer led the way for the Red Foxes, capturing a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal best time of 9:58.38.

Noah Brown finished fifth in the pole vault with a jump of 4.10 meters (13 feet, 5.25 inches). Liam Haggerty used a season-best toss of 43.33 meters (142 feet, 2 inches) to secure sixth in the javelin throw.

John Ignacz set a new personal record in the 5k, finishing in 15:22.32 which was good for 11th place.

Weston Lebrecque finished 21st in the 400-meter dash in a new personal record time of 52.39 seconds. Christopher Lynch achieved two new personal records today: 23.95 seconds in the 200 (42nd) and 52.86 seconds in the 400 (28th).
