LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey - The Marist men's track & field team continued its season on Saturday, competing in the Rider Invite.
Mason Mayer led the way for the Red Foxes, capturing a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal best time of 9:58.38.
Noah Brown finished fifth in the pole vault with a jump of 4.10 meters (13 feet, 5.25 inches).
Liam Haggerty used a season-best toss of 43.33 meters (142 feet, 2 inches) to secure sixth in the javelin throw.
John Ignacz set a new personal record in the 5k, finishing in 15:22.32 which was good for 11th place.
Weston Lebrecque finished 21st in the 400-meter dash in a new personal record time of 52.39 seconds.
Christopher Lynch achieved two new personal records today: 23.95 seconds in the 200 (42nd) and 52.86 seconds in the 400 (28th).

- Marist track & field will head to two different meets next weekend. Some Red Foxes will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for Penn Relays, while others will stay close and compete at the Vassar Twilight.Â
