Men's Lacrosse Travels For MAAC Matchup With The Mount on Saturday

EMMITSBURG, MD. – The Marist men's lacrosse team aims to get back on track, as the Red Foxes travel to take on conference foe Mount St. Mary's on Saturday at 4 p.m. inside Waldroun Family Stadium.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Marist men's lacrosse dropped a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match-up against the Manhattan Jaspers by a score of 11-10 on Saturday afternoon at Tenney Stadium. 
  • Peter Murray led the offense with three goals and two assists for five points.
  • Sam Ferrel added two goals and an assist.
  • Noble Smith had his eighth 10+ save game this season
  • Jake Deacy and Sam Ferrel both tallied three point games in the loss

  • Men's lacrosse head coach Keegan Wilkinson is the all-time winningest coach in program-history, boasting 95 career wins.

BALCARCEL'S A BALLER
  • Joshua Balcarcel enters Saturday's matchup with 46 career goals, four shy of 50.

DYLAN DOMINATES
  •  Dylan Bedell of the Marist men's lacrosse team was named the MAAC Face-Off Player of the Week, announced Monday by the conference office.
  • This marks the third time this season that Bedell has garnered the award.
  • This is the ninth time this season that a Marist player has received a MAAC weekly award. 
  • Joshua Balcarcel, Aidan McCaffrey, Noble Smith, and Sean Mullan have garnered an award apiece this season, while this is Bedell's third award of the campaign, surpassing Collin Patrick (2). 
  • In a two-game weekend, Bedell went 31-for-46 (.674) in face-off attempts, collected 13 groundballs, and added two goals for two points for the Red Foxes.
