POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist volleyball team has announced its schedule for the 2024 season, featuring a total of 28 matchups including 10 non-conference games and 18 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) contests.
 

Non-Conference Schedule

• Marist will begin its non-conference schedule on the road, starting in Virginia. On Friday, Aug. 30, the Red Foxes will compete against Old Dominion University and the University of Virginia. The following day, Saturday, Aug. 31, they will face the University of Texas San Antonio.
• Next, Marist travels to East Lansing, Michigan, for matchups on Friday, Sept. 6, against Western Kentucky and Loyola. On Saturday, Sept. 7, the Red Foxes will face-off against Michigan State.
• The following week, the Red Foxes will be in Dover, Delaware, where they play the University of Delaware on Friday, Sept. 13, and Howard University on Saturday, Sept. 14.
• The final two games of the non-conference schedule will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On Friday, Sept. 20, Marist will first play against the University of Rhode Island, and the results of these games will determine their opponent for Saturday, Sept. 21, either Villanova or Temple.

MAAC Play

• Marist kicks off its MAAC schedule with a weekend trip to Buffalo, New York. They will face Niagara on Saturday, Sept. 28, followed by a match against Canisius on Sunday, Sept. 29.
• On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Marist travels to Loudonville, New York, to take on Siena. The following weekend, they return home to host Iona on Oct. 5 and Manhattan on Oct. 6.
• Marist will then travel to Rider on Oct. 12 and Saint Peter's on Oct. 13. They then return home to host Quinnipiac on Oct.19 and MAAC newcomer Merrimack on Oct. 20.
• Marist travels to face another MAAC newcomer, Sacred Heart, on Oct. 26, followed by a visit to the reigning MAAC Champion Fairfield on Oct. 27.
• The Red Foxes will host Siena on Oct. 30, Saint Peter's on Nov. 2, and Rider on Nov. 3. They then travel to Merrimack on Nov. 9 and Quinnipiac on Nov. 10.
• The regular season concludes with home games against Canisius on Nov. 16 and Niagara on Nov. 17.

MAAC Championships

The MAAC Quarterfinals are scheduled for Friday, November 22, followed by the Semifinals on Saturday, November 23. The MAAC Championship Final will take place on Sunday, November 24.
