NORFOLK, Virginia – The Marist volleyball fell to Texas-San Antonio by a score of 3-0 to close out play in the Quest for the Crown Tournament on Saturday.

UTSA prevailed by set scores of 25-18, 25-15, and 25-12.

- Set One
- The beginning of the set was closely contested, with Marist attaining a 6-5 lead.
- UTSA built a 17-12 lead, but the Red Foxes scored six of the next seven points. Jamison White's ace knotted the score at 18 apiece.
- UTSA scored seven straight points to close out the set.
- Set Two
- UTSA scored the first three points, and led for the remainder of the set.
- The Roadrunners added a 7-0 run later in the set.
- Set Three
- UTSA jumped out to a 5-0 lead, and held the advantage for the rest of the set.

- Marist will next compete in the Kathy DeBoer Invitational, hosted by Michigan State.
- The Red Foxes will face Western Kentucky (noon) and Loyola Chicago (4:30 p.m.) on Friday, followed by the host Spartans on Saturday (3 p.m.).
