NEWARK, Delaware - Marist volleyball's search for its first victory of 2024 continues as it fails to overcome Delaware at the Blue Hen Invitational inside the Bob Carpenter Center on Friday evening.
The Red Foxes were led offensively by
Taylor Miller who collected a team-high six kills.
Sara Dasic and
Trinity Woods tied for the next hightest with three kills a piece.
Jamison White collected 14 assists in the losing effort.
With this loss, the Red Foxes fall to 0-7 on the season while Delaware improves to 3-3.

SET ONE (25-10, Delaware)
The Blue Hens took control of the set early, jumping out to a 7-0 lead before the Red Foxes broke the rally thanks to a
Taylor Miller kill. The Red Foxes were unable to battle back from their early deficit, eventually losing the set 25-10.
SET TWO (25-13, Delaware)
Once again, the Red Foxes were subjected to a early push by Delaware, who took a 4-0 lead before the Red Foxes were able to respond. Though Marist would go on to continue trading blows with the Blue Hens they were unable to regain enough ground, going on to lose the set 25-13.
SET THREE (25-10, Delaware)
The Red Foxes struck first in the third and maintained a much closer scoreline margin through the early stages of the frame. When the score reached 11-9 in favor of Delaware, the home team would then take control of the match scoring nine of the next ten points. They would go on to take the frame 25-15 and the match 3-0.
NOTES
- Taylor Miller led the Red Foxes in offense with six kills.
- This puts her season tally up to 41.
- The Red Foxes have yet to score more than 20 points in a set in 2024.
- Jamison White adds 14 assists to her season total, bringing her to 115.
