NEWARK, Delaware - Marist volleyball fell to Howard on Saturday afternoon in its final matchup of the Blue Hen Invitational inside the Bob Carpenter Center.
Eden Bristow led the Red Foxes with season-highs in: kills (eight), points (nine) and digs (four).
Taylor Miller followed with six kills. Cecilia "CC" Potter-Pessoa put up a season high seven digs.
This result puts Marist's record at 0-8 on the season, with Howard improving to 5-3.

SET ONE(25-18)
Despite an early lead by Marist, the Red Foxes would be forced to relinquish their lead at 7-7. Though they would continue to battle, they were unable to sustain any sort of rally, eventually falling to the Bison 25-18.
SET TWO (25-20)
The Red Foxes got off to one of the best starts to a set they've had so far this season, getting off to a 7-4 lead. However, the Bison would go on to take seven of the next eight points to put the score at 11-8 in favor Howard. Despite the Red Foxes best efforts, the Bison would go on to take the set 25-20.
SET THREE (25-11)
Unlike the previous two sets, Howard took command of the the third frame early, storming out to a 11-5 lead. They would push the pace, eventually going on a seven point streak that would become too much for the Red Foxes to overcome. Howard would go on to take the set 25-11.
