QUEENS, New York - The Marist women's tennis team is set to travel to Queens, NY to take on St. John's on Friday, Jan. 31 at noon. Both the men's and women's team will follow up by visiting Colgate in Syracuse, NY on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 3 P.M.
 

LAST TIME OUT

Women

• Marist women's  tennis fell 6-1 at Dartmouth on Jan 19.
• Viktoria Lorentzon won her first singles match of her collegiate career, winning 6-3, 6-4 in #3 singles.
• Vihana Shresta fell in a closely contested #5 singles match, splitting the first two sets 6-2, respectively.

Men

• Men's Tennis fell 4-0 to Richmond on Jan. 25.
• Jose Catala and Gregor Heinemann lost 7-6(7-5) in #2 doubles.
• Marist comes in with zero wins in its last two matches, losing 4-0 to Richmond and being swept 7-0 by Dartmouth.
•  Fateh Singh and Anirudh Nallaparaju took down Grant Cohen and Mark Taranov #3 Doubles, earning the team's lone doubles win.

Friday vs. St. John's

• The Red Storm sit at 2-0 so far in 2025.
• St.Johns beat Fairfield 4-1 at home and swept Rider 4-0., also at home.
• After Marist, St.John's hosts Morgan State, finishing up a four-game home stand.

Saturday vs. Colgate

• Colgate Women's were defeated 5-2 when they hosted Rhode Island on Jan 26
• The Women sit at 1-1 after also beating Stonehill, 5-2.
• After facing Marist the Women's team travels to Dartmouth, scheduled for 10:00am on Feb 2nd.

Men

• Colgate Men's enter this match 1-0 on the season.
• The Men opened away to Stonehill, winning 4-3.
• After Marist, Colgate will host Binghamton, who are 1-1 in 2025.
