VESTAL, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team fell 69-58 in its final non-conference matchup of the season against Binghamton University on Saturday afternoon at the Events Center.

Lexie Tarul erupted for a career-high 24 points, shooting 8-for-14 from the field and 6-for-11 from distance, to go along with a team-high seven rebounds. Freshman forward
Justine Henry added 15 points, six rebounds and three steals.
- The Red Foxes turned the ball over on each of their first three possessions as the Bearcats jumped out to a 6-0 lead, forcing a Marist timeout at the 7:32 mark.
- Binghamton extended its lead to 8-0 before Henry made a layup for the Red Foxes first bucket of the game at the 5:02 mark.
- A 7-2 run capped by a layup from junior forward Karly Fischer allowed Marist to get within one possession (12-9).
- The Red Foxes found themselves down 18-13 after one.
- Marist opened the quarter with a 3-pointer from Tarul followed by an and-one from sophomore guard Kasey Bretones to take a 19-18 lead.
- Binghamton responded with a 16-0 run, taking a 34-19 lead with 3:24 to go in the first half.
- The Red Foxes closed the quarter on a 6-2 spurt to pull within 11 (36-25) at the break.
- Binghamton started the second half with a 9-2 run to increase its lead to 45-27 lead at the 6:26 mark.
- The Red Foxes were down by as much as 19, but cut it to 14 (52-38) through three quarters.
- Marist trimmed the deficit to 12 (57-45) with a 3-pointer from Henry at the 6:35 mark
- The Red Foxes utilized an 11-2 run capped by a 3-pointer from sophomore guard Chloe Escanillas to cut the deficit to eight with 1:50 remaining in the game.
- The late charge wasn't enough as Binghamton held on to win it, 69-58.
- The Red Foxes conclude a three-game road slate and begin MAAC play at Mount St. Mary's on Friday, Dec. 19.
