Men’s Basketball Takes on Georgia Tech Tuesday Night

Red Foxes Set to Face ACC Foe

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University men's basketball team (7-2) returns to action Tuesday night in Atlanta, when the Red Foxes take Georgia Tech (6-4) of the ACC.
 
Tip-off is set for 7:30 as the Red Foxes seek their fifth straight win.

  • Dean Darling (play-by-play) and Steve Eggink (analyst) will have the call on the Red Fox Network and Varsity Network app. The pregame show will start at 7:10 p.m.

  • Marist won its fifth straight with an 82-74 road victory at Bryant on Saturday, Dec. 13.

  • Following his performance against Bryant on Saturday, Justin Menard was named Air Force Reserve Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
  • Menard's 27 points were the most scored by a MAAC player last week.
  • Menard scored 23 points in the second half. He hit four three-pointers in a span of five-and-a-half minutes early in the half, and he went 6-for-6 from the line in the last 30 seconds. All of his free throws were one-and-ones.

  • In their last contest on Saturday, Dec. 6, the Yellow Jackets earned a 79-67 home victory over Monmouth.
  • Kowacie Reeves Jr. leads Georgia Tech in scoring (14.8 ppg), and is followed by Baye Ndongo (11.8 ppg) and Mouhamed Sylla (11.2 ppg).
