POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Morgan Lee scored a career-high 26 points, as the Marist women's basketball team was defeated by Siena 81-69 at home on Thursday night in McCann Arena.
Lexie Tarul would tally 16 points and tie her career-high in field goals made with six in the loss.

The Red Foxes were first on the board, thanks to a
Ciara Croker's two-ball with 9:06 on the clock. With Siena leading 6-4 at 6:10,
Lexie Tarul knocked down her first three of the day to put the Red Foxes up 7-6.
Siena held a slight edge throughout the later stages in the quarter, extending its lead to eight at 2:52, before taking a 23-15 lead into the second.

The Saints would struck first in the second quarter, putting themselves up 26-15.
Lexie Tarul responded for the Red Foxes with a pair of threes to put the score at 26-21, forcing the Saints to call a timeout.
Coming out of the timeout, both teams would trade buckets, with the Red Foxes cutting the Saints' lead down to four.
Siena would not rest, however, going on a five-point run to put their lead at 36-26. The half would eventually end with the score at 42-35 in favor of the Saints.
The Saints opened the second half with a 9-0 run to extend their lead to 51-35, forcing the Red Foxes to call a timeout. The Red Foxes were only able to cut the lead down to 14 by the end of the quarter, with the score sitting at 65-51.

The deficit proved to be too much for the Red Foxes, as they eventually came up short, 81-69.
