Manhattan, New York – The Marist men's track & field team saw its distance medley relay team consisting of Miles Chamberlain, Simeon Washington, Raffi Buchakjian and Logan Schaeffler bring home gold to wrap up day one at the MAAC Indoor Championships on Saturday inside the Armory Nike Track and Field Center.

Matthew Ferreri (13th) opened the day for the Red Foxes with a new PR in the first-night event, the mile run, with 4:21.03.

Christopher Lynch (13th) broke his season-best record with a PR of 8.67 in the 60-meter hurdles shortly after.

Amari Mathis earned the first final qualifying time for the men with a time of 6.94 in the 60-meter dash. Maxwell Sylver (15th) set a new PR in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.12, respectively.

The 400-meter dash saw three new PR top-ten finishes and final qualifying times. Ryan Trocolar started the charge off strong with a second-place finish, setting a new Marist school record, with a time of 48.95. Easton Eberwein (3rd) finished with a time of 49.04, followed by Reed Dexter (6th) at 49.81.

Sean Wilson (2nd) set a new PR and season-best record for Marist in the 800-meter run, qualifying him for the finals on Sunday with a time of 1:56.03. Joseph Logan (6th) was close behind with his PR and qualifying time of 1:56.13.

Amari Mathis earned his second qualifying spot of the night in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.93.

The men's DMR team, (Miles Chamberlain, Simeon Washington, Raffi Buchakjian, Logan Schaeffler) wrapped up the evening for the Red Foxes with a MAAC Championship title with their winning time of 10:05.75.
