Manhattan, New York – Ryan Trocolar was named the MAAC Track Rookie of the Meet, as the Marist men's track & field team came in fifth place, its highest placing of all time at the MAAC Indoor Championships, on Sunday. The event took place at the Armory Nike Track and Field Center.
Ryan Trocolar won the MAAC title in the 400-meter dash, only advancing his new school record time with a PR of 48.66.
Easton Eberwein followed close behind, earning third place with a PR of 48.96. The men went three-for-three in PRs with
Reed Dexter (8th) also running a PR of 49.74.
The 4 x 800-meter relay team of Miles Chamberlain,
Joaquin Bell-Andrade,
Matthew Ferreri, and
Logan Schaeffler secured bronze in the event with a time of 7:50.26.
The 4 x 400-meter relay squad of Reed Dexter,
Easton Eberwein,
Ryan Trocolar and
Simeon Washington landed the men's team on the podium yet again with a second-place finish with a time of 3:17.09, setting a new school record.
