POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Sophomore guard
Josh Pascarelli of the Marist University men's basketball team was named First Team National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District on Tuesday morning.
Pascarelli was named First Team in the North Atlantic District, which consists of Division I schools in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The district alignment is new for this season, as each one was organized by state as opposed to conference.
Pascarelli was previously a unanimous First Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference selection this season. He ranked third in the MAAC in three-pointers per game (2.7), sixth in points per game (15.9), and eight in three-point percentage (.393).
Pascarelli was named MAAC Player of the Week twice this season, and he earned the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Player of the Week honor once. His 81 three-pointers made were tied for the fifth-highest single-season total in program history.
Marist finished the 2024-25 season with a 20-10 record. It was the program's fifth 20-win season in its history, and its highest win total in 18 years.
