LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Marist men's and women's track & field teams travel to Lawrence Township, New Jersey for the Rider 5-Way Invitational at the Micheal P. Brady Track Complex for their second meet of the outdoor season.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Marist track and field teams competed at the Fred Hardy Invitational for their first meet of the outdoor season on Mar. 21st
• On the women's side, Alyssa Dapont (30th) earned the first PR of the outdoor season for the women with a time of 13.03 in the 100-meter dash.
• Julianna Mirabile (22nd) also recorded a new PR with a time of 2:19.33 in the 800-meter run.
• As for the men, freshman Justin Schwartz (4th) opened the start of the outdoor season with a PR of 15:33.63 in the 5000-meter run.
• Neel Viswanathan (62nd) set a PR in the 1500-meter run with his time of 4:17.14.
• Christopher Lynch (9th) put another PR on the board for the men in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.24.
• Amari Mathis won the 100-meter dash with his PR of 10.73.
• William Carroll (43) raced his way to a PR with a time of 24.77 in the 200-meter dash.

HISTORY AT RIDER FIVE-WAY

• This will be the Marist track and field team's first time competing at the Rider 5-Way Invite.
• Marist will be bringing nearly a full team to race with 29 athletes from the men's team and 35 from the women's.
• This will be the first time out for the women's field events this outdoor season with multiple athletes competing in long jump, shot put, and javelin.

UP NEXT

• The teams will be back in action from Apr. 4th through Apr. 5th, when they will compete at the Colonial Relays.
• The event will take place at the William and Mary outdoor track.
