WEST POINT, New York – The Marist University softball team swept Canisius in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference doubleheader at the Army West Point Softball Complex on Tuesday. The Red Foxes won game one 8-0 in five innings, and they took game two 11-1 in six innings.

Kiley Myers pitched her second no-hitter of the season in game one.
Sienna Kunze ended game one with a three-run homer in the bottom of the fifth, and
Maddie Gore's pinch-hit grand slam ended game two in the sixth.

- Miah McDonald's homer opened the scoring in the bottom of the first.
- The score remained 1-0 until the bottom of the fifth, when the Red Foxes ended the game by scoring seven runs.
- Isabella Manory led off the inning with a single, and she scored on a one-out triple by Kaitlin Husic.
- Husic scored on an error, which extended the lead to 3-0.
- Maddie Pleasants' RBI single brought home McDonald.
- Samantha Rogers' RBI single scored Haley Ahr.
- Kunze ended the game with a three-run homer.

- Myers struck out four in five innings, and she threw only 48 pitches. The only baserunner Canisius had reached on an error. She retired the last 13 hitters she faced.
- Marist finished with eight hits. Kunze and Rogers had two apiece.

- Canisius opened the scoring in the top of the first, but Peyton Pusey tied the game with a homer on the first pitch of the bottom of the first. McDonald followed with a single, and Pleasants' single brought McDonald home to give Marist a 2-1 lead.
- The Red Foxes scored three in the second. Pleasants had another RBI single, and Kunze's single scored two.
- Ahr led off the fourth with a single, and Pleasants followed with a two-run homer.
- Gore's pinch-hit grand slam ended the game in the sixth.

- Myers earned the win in game two, and she is now 14-0. She struck out six in four innings.
- Pleasants struck out three in two scoreless innings of relief.
- Marist had 14 hits in game two. Pleasants went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs. Pusey, McDonald, Ahr, and Kunze had two hits apiece.

- With 17 straight wins, Marist has tied its longest winning streak in program history.
- McDonald extended her hitting streak to 22 games.
- Pleasants has 11 home runs in her last 13 games.
- Marist has outscored the opposition 46-2 en route to its 5-0 MAAC record. This is the Red Foxes' first 5-0 MAAC start since 2011.
