Red Foxes Set for Bison Outdoor Invitational

LEWISBURG, PA. – The Marist men's and women's track & field teams travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for the Bison Invitational at Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium for their fourth meet of the outdoor season.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Marist track and field teams competed at Colonial Relays for their third meet of the outdoor season from Apr. 4th through Apr. 5th, 2025.
  • On the women's side, freshman Edy Livingston started day one off strong for the women's track and field team with a PR of 18:48.93 in the 5000-meter run, earning her fourth place overall.
  • Julianna Mirabile doubled that with her own PR and fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:15.25, setting a new season-best record for Marist.
  • Emily Litke's PR earned her fourth with a time of 11:05.46 in the 3k steeplechase, shaving 30 seconds off her previous record.
  • Sierra Fisher placed first in the 1500-meter run with her PR of 4:38.39, setting a new season-best record for the women.
  • On day two, the Marist 4x1500 meter relay (Sierra Fisher, Adele Alexander, Parker O'Brien, Julia Zydanowicz) placed third with their time of 19:08.92.
  • As for the men, Justin Schwartz came out strong for the Foxes on day one with a time of 15:24.83 in the 5000-meter run, earning him a PR and second place finish.
  • Miles Chamberlain placed first in the 800-meter run with a PR of 1:54.86, setting a new season-best record for the men.
  • Easton Eberwein (7th) set a new Marist school record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.43.
  • The men's 4x400 meter relay (Simeon Washington, Miracle Okoli, Simon Advento, Easton Eberwein) closed out Colonial Relays with a time of 3:18.79 and a new Marist school record, breaking a record previously held for over 20 years.
WOMEN'S HISTORY AT BISON INVITATIONAL
  • This Marist women's track and field team competed at the Bison Invitational last from Apr. 13th through Apr. 14th, 2025.
  • Adele Alexander ran a personal best time of 10:11.95 to beat 52 out of the 54 total competitors in the 3,000-meter run.
  • Grace Fletcher won her heat in the 800-meter run, finishing in a personal best time of 2:23.54 to take second overall in the event. Sydney Driscoll-Gannon also won her heat of the unseeded 800, setting a new personal record of 2:26.72 to finish 12th overall.
  • The Red Foxes had a pair of student-athletes set new personal records in the 3,000-meter racewalk: Kyra Pellegrino (14:44.02, 3rd) and Megan Hoffman (14:59.52, 4th).
  • Madison LaCreta ran a personal best time of 15.91 to finish 44th in the 100-meter hurdles.
  • Stephania Granados ran a collegiate best in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 1:00.78.
MEN'S HISTORY AT BISON INVITATIONAL
  • The Marist men's track and field team competed at Colonial Relays last from Apr. 13th through Apr. 14th, 2024.
  • Amari Mathis secured a top-20 finish in the 100-meter dash, finishing in an IC4A-qualifying time of 10.77 seconds which was good for 17th.
  • In the unseeded 5,000-meter run, Steven Viera finished 15th with a personal best time of 15:19.98. Dennis Love (32nd) also ran a personal best in the race, finishing in 15:35.04.
  • The Red Foxes also had a pair of student-athletes run personal best times in the unseeded 10,000-meter run: Jack Dovaras (32:22.58, 37th) and Ryan Wisker (32:24.37, 38th).
  • Kevin Lee jumped a new personal best of 6.43 meters (21 feet, 1.25 inches) to finish 24th in the long jump.
  • Christopher Lynch set a new personal record in the 110 hurdles as he finished in 16.88 which was good for 39th place.
  • In his first outdoor 400-meter race of the season since breaking the indoor school record, Easton Eberwein dropped a 49.78 to finish in 43rd place.
  • Marist also had a trio of runners run sub-two in the invitational 800-meter run.
  • Chris Paxis (63rd) ran a season-best time of 1:54.85.
  • Jacob Anderson secured a new personal record of 1:58.98 and Alexander Ushchak finished in a collegiate best time of 1:59.72.
  • Paxis also ran a season-best in the invitational 1,500-meter run, finishing in 3:56.32.
UP NEXT
  • The teams will be back in action on Apr. 19th, when they will compete at the Rider Invitational
  • The event will take place at the Micheal P. Brady Track Complex.
