Red Foxes Wrap 2025 Regular Season at Siena on Wednesday

Men's Lacrosse Can Secure No. 2 Seed for MAAC Championships With Win

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Marist men's lacrosse wraps its 2025 regular season campaign on the road at Siena on Wednesday at 4 p.m. on ESPN+. With a win, the Red Foxes will clinch the No. 2 overall seed for the MAAC Championships and a bye into the MAAC Semifinals.
 
Last Time Out
  • The Marist University men's lacrosse team earned a 15-7 home victory over Merrimack in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference contest at Tenney Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
  • Five Red Foxes finished with five points apiece: Balcarcel (two goals, one assist), Deacy (three goals), Ferrel (one goal, two assists), Mullan (three goals).
  • Dylan Bedell picked up a team-best nine ground balls and won 17 of 23 face-offs.
  • Aidan McCaffrey caused two turnovers and had three ground balls.

Award-Winning Red Foxes
  • Two Marist men's lacrosse players earned MAAC Weekly award honors, as announced Monday by the conference. Freshman Adam Wachholder was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.
  • Senior Dylan Bedell was named MAAC Face-Off Specialist of the Week.
  • In the Red Foxes win against Merrimack on April 19, Wachholder tallied eight saves for the Red Foxes. Wachholder only allowed six goals in the Red Foxes win at Tenney Stadium.
  • Dylan Bedell in the face-off position, had a dominant game in the Red Foxes win. Bedell won 17 of 23 face-offs in the win.

  • Wednesday's game marks the 38th-ever matchup between Marist and Siena
  • The Saints enter with an 8-4 record overall and a 6-1 MAAC record, winning their last match over Canisius, 16-10.
  • Pratt Reynolds leads the Saints with 43 goals on the season
