Red Foxes Begin Quest to MAAC Championship With Matchup Versus Manhattan

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Marist men's lacrosse team opens the MAAC tournament with a quarterfinal matchup against Manhattan at Tenney Stadium on Sunday, April 27. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
Last Time Out
-       The Red Foxes dropped their final regular season game to Siena 24-9, holding a 5-3 conference record before tournament play.
-       Collin Patrick led the Red Foxes in points with three, made up of two goals and one assist.
-       Drew Anderson, Jake Deacy and Steven Cain all delivered two goals as well in the contest.
-       Dylan Bedell tied his season-high of nine ground balls won in the defeat.
-       Bryant O'Donnell led the Red Foxes in saves with seven.

-       Collin Patrick was the only Red Fox with three or more points in the loss to Siena.
-       The sophomore is second in the MAAC in points per game [3.79] and top-40 in points and assists per game [1.64] in the nation.
-       Patrick led Marist in goals [30], assists [23], shots [100] and shots on goal [59] in the regular season.
-       He finished with three or more points in eleven of the fourteen regular season games this season.
 
Scouting Manhattan
-       The Quarterfinal game marks the 31st matchup between Marist and Manhattan.
-       The Red Foxes took this year's regular season contest 14-10 on April 12.
-       Drew Anderson and Sean Mullan each notched hat-tricks in the win, while Jake Deacy collected four points himself.
-       The Jaspers lost their last regular season game 11-7 to Sacred Heart, resulting in a 4-4 MAAC record before the tournament.
-       Drew Hiner and Aiden Kane each recorded two goals in the loss.
-       Kelly DuPree leads Manhattan in goals [23], points [33] and shots on goal [56].
-       Connor Hapward holds a .577 save percentage while allowing 10.24 goals per game.
-       The Jaspers are sixth in the MAAC in total goals scored [126] and third in goals allowed [143].

-       If the Red Foxes win they will take on No. 1 seeded Sacred Heart on Thursday, May 1.
