POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University football team has added a home game against the University of New Haven on Friday, Aug. 29.

This game will now serve as the Red Foxes' home opener, and it will give Marist six home games this season:

- Friday, Aug. 29: New Haven
- Saturday, Sept. 6: Bucknell
- Saturday, Oct. 4: San Diego
- Saturday, Oct. 25: Drake
- Saturday, Nov. 8: Stetson
- Saturday, Nov. 15: Davidson

Additionally, Marist's road game at Penn will now take place on Friday, Oct. 10, a day earlier than its originally scheduled date of Saturday, Oct. 11.

Home kickoff times will be released at a later date.

- This will be Marist's first 12-game regular season in program history.
- The Aug. 29 season opener is tied for the earliest in program history (previously set in 2008). It will be Marist's fourth August game in program history.
- This will be Marist's first Friday home game since its season opener in 2010 against Sacred Heart.
- It will be the sixth time in the last 35 years Marist is starting with back-to-back home games. This also took place in 2022, 2016, 2010, 2002, and 1994.
