POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist baseball team took home two of the three MAAC Weekly Awards, Tuesday afternoon. The Red Foxes Lewis Rodriguez won MAAC Player of the Week and Noel Rivera won Rookie of the Week, for a dominant performance in their series win.

Lewis Rodriguez had a breakout weekend in the Red Foxes series win against Fairfield. Rodriguez slashed a .600 batting average in the series win including two doubles and a home run. Rodriguez also tallied six RBIs in the series win.

Noel Rivera continued his dominant rookie season in the Red Foxes series win against Fairfield. Rivera slashed a .411 batting average including two doubles and a home run in the series win.

The two awards marked the second and third weekly awards earned by the Red Foxes. The first award came via Rivera, making this his second Rookie of the Week award of the 2025 season.
