POUGHKEEPSIE, New York –
Jackson Price, who played for the Marist University men's basketball team from 2023-25, is starting his professional basketball career. Price has signed with the Pully Lausanne Foxes in Switzerland's highest tier league.

After playing his first two collegiate seasons at The Citadel, Price came to Marist prior to the start of the 2023-24 season. He saw significant action at the center position that year, and he then moved into the starting lineup at the five this past year.

In his two seasons as a Red Fox, Price averaged 8.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient .474 from the field, .351 from three-point range, and .766 from the free-throw line. On Nov. 9, 2024, he scored a career-high 20 points on the strength of six three-pointers in a victory at Richmond.

Price's contributions to the program extended off the floor. He was a two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection who was a three-time selection to the Marist Dean's List as a Psychology major. Price was named MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week on Nov. 13, 2004. He also served as Event Manager in Marist's Black Student-Athlete Alliance, was involved with Marist's Student-Athlete Wellness Advocates, interned with Marist's Center for Student-Athlete Enhancement, and he attended the Black Student-Athlete Summit in Los Angeles in May of 2024.
