POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Ella Bryan of the Marist women's soccer team was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week, announced Monday by the conference office. This marks the first time this season that Bryan has garnered the award.

This is the first time this season that a Marist player has received a MAAC weekly award.

Bryan scored two goals in Marist's 3-1 victory over New Haven on Tuesday, Sept. 9. Bryan's first goal gave the Red Foxes a 1-0 lead, followed by her second one in the contest doubling the lead to 2-0.

The Red Foxes will be back in action on Saturday, Sep. 20, when Marist continues MAAC play on the road at Saint Peter's. The match is set to start at 12 PM on ESPN+.
