HAMDEN, Connecticut - The Marist Women's Tennis team capped off a three-match stretch with standout efforts across the lineup against Quinnipiac, New Haven, and Saint Francis (PA).
Against Quinnipiac, the Red Foxes came out strong in doubles play as the pairings of Lola Ungerman/Ella Lindsey and Vihana Shresta/Yasmin Asnis secured key victories. In singles, Moxi Liang and Lindsey fought through third-set tiebreakers to notch hard-earned wins for Marist.
Against New Haven, the Red Foxes showcased their depth and focus. Jane Wright, Asnis, and Tessa Wachtel each cruised to straight-set victories, setting the tone for a convincing team performance.
Marist closed the weekend against Saint Francis (PA), highlighted by strong singles play from Viktoria Lorentzon and Lindsey, who recorded decisive wins, 6-4, 6-4 and 6-3, 6-3, respectively.
