EDISON, N.J. - The MAAC has released its preseason coaches' poll ahead of the 2026 men's and women's tennis season. The Marist men's tennis team was selected tied for fourth in the MAAC, while the women were picked fifth.
After finishing last season with a record of 5-14 and going 1-7 in MAAC play, the men's team is expected to have a strong bounce back after receiving 48 points along with Siena. The women's team, who finished 11-9 overall and 4-4 in conference action a season ago, received a fifth-place placement with 48 points, just two points behind fourth placed Niagara.
The women's spring season begins on the road at Seton Hall on Friday, Jan. 23, while the men begin on Sunday, Feb. 1 at Brown.
