HAMDEN, Conn. - The Marist University women's basketball team was defeated by Quinnipiac, 59-47, on Saturday afternoon at M&T Bank Arena.
After trailing by as many as 17 points, the Red Foxes cut the deficit to three in the fourth quarter, but the Bobcats used a late run to hold on for the win. Sophomore guard
Danielle Williamsen led the Red Foxes with 14 points and five rebounds.
Marist falls to 6-12 on the season and 3-5 in MAAC play, while Quinnipiac improves to 13-4 overall and 8-0 in conference action.
