Siena Pulls Away Late in Victory Over Marist

Blackwell Leads Marist with 13 Points

ALBANY, New York – The Marist University men's basketball team fell to Siena by a score of 69-50 at MVP Arena on Thursday night.
 
Summary
  • Siena jumped out to a 13-2 lead, which forced a Marist timeout at 14:50. However, Marist answered with five straight points, as Siena was held scoreless for 3:14.
  • Siena built its lead back to 11, but five straight points from Parby Kabamba cut Marist's deficit to six with 8:17 left in the first half.
  • Elijah Lewis' three brought Marist to within four at 23-19, which forced a Siena timeout at the 5:56 mark.
