POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Marist water polo senior Ines Sanchez earns Kap7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference defensive player of the week, Wednesday afternoon.
 
Sanchez played in two games this past weekend, against Siena and Wagner. She helped lead Marist to victory in both games with dominant performances in goal.
Sanchez saved four out of five shots in the win against Siena for a save percentage of 80%. In a big win against Wagner, she would end up saving 12 out of 14 shots for a save percentage of 86%.
 
The Red Foxes are back in action, Saturday Jan. 31. to face Brown and Princeton at the Princeton Invitational.
