PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island- The Red Foxes start strong in the 2026 season, defeating Siena 22-5 and Wagner 14-7.
 
Paige Naegle led the Red Foxes with six goals in their dominating 22-5 win over Siena
 
Ines Sanches has a huge game with 12 saves while Kendell De Beer led the offense with three goals and two assists in another win, this time against the MAAC reigning champion, Wagner by a score of 14-7.
 

Match One vs Siena

• At the end of the first quarter the Red Foxes took an early 4-2 lead over the Saints.
• In the second quarter Marist kept their momentum and scored five goals, this time, to take a 9-4 lead going into halftime.
• After the half the Red Foxes continued their dominance outscoring Siena 7-0 in the third quarter.
• The Red Foxes would maintain control in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Saints 6-1, to win the match by a score of 22-5.

 

Match Two vs Wagner

• The first quarter was kept close, but the Red Foxes would lead 3-2 at the end of the quarter.
• Quarter number two stayed competitive but once again Marist outscored Wagner, 4-3, to lead 7-5 going into halftime.
• Coming out of the half, the Red Foxes gained some momentum and outscored Wagner 4-1 to lead 11-6, going into the final quarter.
• The Red Foxes kept their stride in the fourth quarter and secured a second win in the Bruno Classic, beating Wagner 14-7.
