POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marst University women's basketball team fell to Manhattan in overtime, 66-61, on Thursday night at McCann Arena.

Prior to the game, Marist honored its senior class of
Ciara Croker,
Jackie Piddock,
Lexie Tarul,
Morgan Tompkins, and manager Sofia Batista.

- There were four lead changes and two ties in the first 5:16, but Marist closed the first quarter on an 8-0 run.
- The Red Foxes led 19-10 after 10 minutes.

- Manhattan tied the game by scoring the first nine points of the second quarter. The Jaspers then went on a 12-0 run as Marist was held scoreless for 4:07.
- Manhattan led 33-26 at halftime.

- Manhattan then started the third quarter on a 9-0 run to go up 16.
- Marist closed the quarter with a 13-0 run, which included five points apiece from Ciara Croker and Julia Corsentino, as Manhattan was held scoreless for the final 6:22. Manhattan led 42-39 after 30 minutes.

- The Jaspers scored the first four points of the fourth quarter to run their lead to seven.
- A 7-2 spurt for Marist got the Red Foxes with two with 7:10 to play.
- Marist got within one on three occasions over the ensuing six minutes.
- A layup by Manhattan's Elisa Sole Sanchez gave the Jaspers a 59-56 lead with 19 seconds to go.
- With 3.8 seconds to go, Lexie Tarul's three-pointer tied the game at 59. It was the first time Manhattan didn't lead since midway through the second quarter. The Jaspers did not score on their final possession, which sent the game to overtime.

- Marist did not convert a field goal in the extra period.
- Two free throws by Justine Henry brought to within one with 1:13 to play. But the Jaspers hit four free throws in the final 30 seconds to put the game away.

- Croker had team highs of 17 points and 11 rebounds.
- Marist had three double-digit scorers, as Tarul finished with 15 and Corsentino had 11.
- Karly Fischer hauled in 10 rebounds.
- For Manhattan, Sole Sanchez led all scorers with 23. Agar Farres Garcia finished with 13 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.

- Croker's two highest-scoring games of her career both came against Manhattan. She had 19 on Jan. 3.
- Croker tied her career high with 11 rebounds, and this was the second double-double of her career.
- Fischer tied her career high with 10 rebounds.
