Men’s Basketball Hosts Saint Peter’s for Senior Day on Sunday

Red Foxes Meet Peacocks in ESPNU Telecast at 2 p.m.

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University men's basketball team (18-11 overall, 12-7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) closes out the regular season on Sunday against Saint Peter's (16-11, 13-6). Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
 
Sunday's game will be broadcast on ESPNU, with Derek Jones and Tim Welsh on the call. An audio broadcast will be available on the Red Fox Network and Varsity Network with Dean Darling and Steve Eggink on the call. The pregame show begins at 1:40.
 
At 1:39, Marist's Senior Day ceremony will begin. The Red Foxes will be honoring Rhyjon Blackwell, Jadin Collins-Roberts, Jaden Daughtry, Martin Kawa, Elijah Lewis, and Trace Salton.
 
Rhyjon Blackwell
  • First year in the program.
  • Pursuing his Master's in Integrated Marketing Communication.
  • Marist's second-leading scorer this year; has four games with at least 20 points.
  • Had a season-high 24 points against Xavier.
  • Has scored 1,380 points in his collegiate career, which includes time at Florida Southwestern, McNeese State, USC-Aiken, and Marist.
 
Jadin Collins-Roberts
  • Communication major with Sports Communication concentration and Accounting minor. Is on track to earn his degree in three years, which would make him the third Red Fox in the last four years to earn his undergraduate degree in four years (Javon Cooley, 2023; Matt McCool, 2025).
  • Has been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll every year he's been eligible; named MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week earlier this year.
  • Named the first team captain in head coach John Dunne's eight-year tenure this year.
  • Has started every game this past three years. Marist has a 56-33 record in this time, marking the program's best three-year run since 2005-08.
  • MAAC All-Championship Team selection as a freshman in 2024.
 
Jaden Daughtry
  • Four-year member of the program.
  • Criminal Justice major.
  • Has appeared in 120 career games, with 85 starts.
  • Ranks in the top 10 all-time in program history in games played (tied for fourth) and blocked shots (eighth with 93).
  • Also sits just outside the top 10 in rebounds (602) and steals (136). Recorded his 500th career rebound on Dec. 21 against Stony Brook, and his 600th on Feb. 22 against Sacred Heart.
 
Martin Kawa
  • Second year in the program after playing the previous two years at Richard Bland College.
  • Business Administration major with Finance concentration.
  • Was selected to last year's MAAC Academic Honor Roll.
  • Has appeared in 46 games at Marist.
  • Has scored 1,106 points during his collegiate career.
 
Elijah Lewis
  • Second year in the program after playing his first two seasons at Adelphi.
  • Computer Science major with Software Development concentration.
  • Started all 54 games he appeared in over the last two years.
  • Was a Third Team All-MAAC selection last season.
  • Scored his 1,000th career point on Dec. 17, 2024 at Stony Brook. Has scored 1,544 points in his collegiate career.
 
Trace Salton
  • Four-year member of the program.
  • Psychology major with Fashion Merchandising minor.
  • Has played in 108 career games, with six starts.
  • Earned a MAAC Rookie of the Week award in the 2022-23 season after scoring a career-high 13 points against Rider.
  • Blocked four shots in this season's opener at Xavier.
