POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University men's basketball team cruised to an 81-52 victory over Rider at McCann Arena on Thursday night. The victory was the Red Foxes' fourth straight.

• Rider started the second half on an 11-4 run, but Marist countered with 11 straight points to take a 29-point lead.
• A layup and three-pointer by Justin Menard on consecutive possessions gave Marist a game-high lead of 34 points with 5:32 left.

• Blackwell led all scorers with 23 points. He shot 9-for-13 from the field and 5-for-6 from three-point range. He had a game-high plus-minus rating of plus-34.
• Blackwell led three Marist double-figure scorers, as Menard added 12 and Jason Schofield finished with 10.
• Menard had a game-high nine assists, and he tied Elijah Lewis for the team high with five rebounds.
• Marist shot .585 (31-for-53) from the field, .611 (11-for-18) from three-point range, and 1.000 (8-for-8) from the line.
• Marist had 23 assists on 31 field goals and committed just nine turnovers.

• Marist held Rider to .365 (23-for-63) shooting from the field and .125 (2-for-16) from three-point range.
• Flash Burton led Rider with 18 points.

• Marist's .585 field goal percentage was its highest this season. It was the seventh time this season Marist shot at least .500 from the field.
• Marist's .611 three-point percentage was its best in a game in eight years.
• This was the fifth time this season Marist had at least 20 assists in a game.
• This was the third time this season Marist hit at least 10 threes in a game.
• Marist made all of its free throws in a game for the first time this season.
• This is the 11^th time in head coach John Dunne's eight-year tenure that Marist has won at least four games in a row.

• Marist improved to 16-7 overall and 10-4 in the MAAC.
• Rider is now 3-19 this season and 2-10 in conference play.
