Men’s Basketball Cruises Past Rider

Blackwell Leads Red Foxes with 23

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University men's basketball team cruised to an 81-52 victory over Rider at McCann Arena on Thursday night. The victory was the Red Foxes' fourth straight.
 
Summary
  • After trailing 6-4, Marist went on an 11-0 run to take the lead for good.
  • Rhyjon Blackwell scored 16 points in the final 7:27 of the first half, and his three in the final minute of the first half gave the Red Foxes a 25-point lead after 20 minutes.
