STATEN ISLAND, NY -Â The Marist Red Foxes men's track and field delivered a strong all-around performance Friday at the Fastrack National Invite, hosted at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Highlighted by a runner-up finish in the 4x400-meter relay, two top-five finishes in the 3,000-meter run, and a second-place performance in the 5,000-meter run (college division), the Red Foxes also recorded numerous personal-best marks across sprints, distance, and field events.
Marist's 4x400-meter relay team of

Weston LaBrecque,
Adam Staffier, and
Miracle Okoli raced to a second-place finish in a season-best 3:18.84. Trocolar (48.76) and Okoli (48.86) bookended the relay with strong splits to secure the podium performance.
The Red Foxes shined in the distance events. In the 3,000-meter run, Kevin Cannon placed third in 8:48.13, while Sanjith Nomula followed in fifth at 8:49.53. Both performances marked personal bests.
In the 5,000-meter run (college division), Davis Haines finished second in 15:37.60, a personal-best effort. Ryan Wisker added a fifth-place finish in 15:43.32. In the invitational 5K, Justin Schwartz clocked a personal-best 15:10.65.
Sean Wilson also turned in a personal-best performance in the mile, finishing 16th in 4:23.27.
Amari Mathis reached the finals of the invitational 60-meter dash, placing eighth overall after running 6.92 in the preliminary round and 7.02 in the final. He also placed seventh in the 200-meter dash (22.00).
The 200-meter group saw multiple personal bests from Ryan Trocolar (22.06), Miracle Okoli (23.00), Weston LaBrecque (23.21), Arbri Halilaj (23.24), and Christopher Lynch (23.49).
In the 400-meter dash, Adam Staffier (51.28), Joaquin Bell-Andrade (51.63), and Jordan Dolansky (55.86) each recorded personal-best times.
Hayden Mundrake posted a personal best in the weight throw at 12.91 meters (42 feet, 4 inches), while also competing in the shot put. Daniel Vargas cleared 3.65 meters in the pole vault, and Manasi Simpkins led Marist in the invitational long jump with a mark of 6.74 meters (22 feet, 1.25 inches).
Across the board, the Red Foxes continued to build momentum during the indoor season with depth, podium finishes, and breakthrough performances.
