POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Marist men's lacrosse team opens its 2026 MAAC slate on Saturday, as the Red Foxes play host to Mount St. Mary's. The opening faceoff is set for a noon start on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• A balanced offensive effort and a decisive third-quarter surge lifted Marist men's lacrosse to a 13-11 win over Air Force on Saturday afternoon.
• The Red Foxes improved to 2-2 on the season behind a six-point performance from Sean Mullan and a four-goal outing by Collin Patrick
• Mullan led all players with three goals and three assists, while Patrick added four goals and an assist. Murray (2g, 1a) and Anderson (2g) also contributed multi-goal efforts as Marist totaled 47 shots in the win.
• Defensively, Richie Metzger made 15 saves in net to anchor the Red Foxes, who forced nine Air Force turnovers.
   

COLLIN'S COOKING

• Preseason MAAC Player of the Year Collin Patrick has found his footing over the last few games.
• Through four games, Patrick has totaled eight goals and three assists for 11 points
• He has scored six goals over the last two games, including a four-goal outing in his last time out against Air Force
• In that game he also tallied his 100th career point as a Red Fox

HISTORY AGAINST THE MOUNT

• Saturday's contest marks the 22nd matchup between the two
• Marist is 9-12 all-time against Mount St. Mary's
• The last time the two sides faced off, Marist came away with a 13-12 home victory over the Mount on March 22, 2025
• Sean Mullan and Collin Patrick led the way with three goals apiece
