Red Foxes Set for Saturday MAAC Bout at Manhattan

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Marist men's lacrosse resumes MAAC play on Saturday, as the Red Foxes travel to Riverdale, NY to take on Manhattan. The opening faceoff is set for a 7 p.m. start inside Gaelic Park.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • A late push brought Marist all the way back, but a decisive run in the final minutes lifted Stony Brook to a 14-11 victory over the Red Foxes on Saturday at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.
  • Marist showed resilience throughout, erasing a four-goal deficit in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 10-10 and later 11-11, but Stony Brook responded with three unanswered goals down the stretch to seal the result.
  • The Red Foxes were led offensively by Peter Murray, who recorded a hat trick along with an assist, while Brady Dolan and Drew Anderson each added two goals. 
  • Steven Cain contributed a goal and two assists in a balanced Marist attack that saw seven different goal scorers.
